When was the last time you met Him?
At Mass, for the Eucharistic meal?
Or singing a worship hymn?
Maybe receiving the absolution seal?
Perhaps in a prayer meeting,
And Godly fellowship greeting…
Bowing, kneeling, with extended hands to pray,
And when it came to an end, you naturally walked away.
For this Birthday — gift Him something new,
Something that makes it feel like It’s Your Birthday too!!
Participate with Him as an Apostle like believer,
Not just a donor, a church goer or a worshipper.
Call Him in PERSONALLY.. For when was the last time you…
All this equals to a “Personal 24/7 Prayer”
For most Christians, our relationship with Him has sometimes been from a fearful position of worship, obeying, kneeling, crying — and that is as far as we dared. But who went the furthest with Him? The Apostles, who spent the most of their time with Him – and the greatest of them was Mary. If time equals money, then for God time (with Him) equals an Alter Christus (another Christ).
Have you ever thought? How can we get the fullness of Him, if we don’t share the fullness of ourselves (even our silliness and shadowy side)… and that is what the Apostles trustingly did! It was a child-like trust that opened their vulnerable side to Him, and He rewarded it by loving and divinely empowering them which shocked the world. Yet Judas was with Him but distrusted Him and had a masked heart. At times we are also away in our heart and it is we who lose out.
Stupid though some of our actions may seem, doesn’t the Maker of all our emotions, understand where we are coming from, and still longs for our trust as we show the X-rays of flawed humanity, to One who has MRI vision? Though He isn’t for sin, He enjoys our trust because more important is to be connected in a relationship with Him. Fear of sin is good (and He came to absolve us) but fear of distrust and non-transparency is damaging (and there is no fix for this).
So like the Apostles who had their falls, the dynamic effects of their comeback far outweighed the fall. Peter denied Him (fearing persecution), but later Peter lived, was crucified and died for Him. Saul killed some Christian Jews but later he converted nations of pagans, Magdalene had a bad following of men, but later she became the Apostle to the Apostles! The power of Divine comeback has always astounded the world, because God will not be mocked by the (preceding) antics of satan, through the fall of His beloved children. That is His promise to us.
Just imagine, if the apostles had lived like most of us, we would not be experiencing the living Jesus in them after the Resurrection. They had to be with Him fully for Him to espouse every area of their human experience, making it divine and powerful. He knew this, so He called them to live with Him..and that He calls of us too!!!
He knocks on the door of your heart, to be fully included in your life. As it is written: “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
He beckons us to pray at all times — don’t just bring Him into every moment, but speak to Him about it, share your heart, ask His opinion, cry to Him, have a man-to-God talk like Job when you are stretched, search and you will find… do all things with Him — but DO NOT leave Him out. 2,025 years ago He came in the flesh to the Apostles. He has promised to be with us in Spirit to do the same through us – and the proof is the Apostles became more powerful and confident after He left and gave them the Spirit, now given to us as well.
Other Advantages:
Him stepping into the very life He gave you, will only guide you to a fuller experience of a real success and one that leaves a lasting impact to help others move that way.
And in “praying without ceasing”, even if all alone, you will never know loneliness — for joy comes from His fullness within you. This happens when you share all your moments with Him: your successes, failures, doubts, and ordinary everyday experiences.
This divine Child came for you — to give not just (the smaller) gifts of miracles, healings, and deliverance. He came to give the greatest of Himself (the Master of Wonders), fully to you and for you — for the success you never knew He planned for you!
2026
May 2026 be the start of the greatest year of your life — an apostolic life lived with Him!
Happy Christmas.
